BUCKET UTILITY HOOKS
| Made in U.S.A. |
Smirne Plastic, Inc. is the original manufacturer of the injection molded Bucket Utility Hook, which has been used by major utility companies throughout the U.S. and Canada since 1978.
These non-conductive plastic hooks are used for attaching tool bags and trays to aerial lift buckets; also used as a hanging hook for hand lines, ropes, slings, and canvas buckets.
Smirne plastic hooks use a specially formulated resin which has been lab tested and used in the field over a long period of time. The inherent properties of this resin were designed for the environment in which it is used-constant exposure to all types of weather and sunlight. These inherent properties give the Smirne hook unique advantages over other similar hooks; extremely low molecular moisture absorption and cold brittleness impact strength; greater flexibility (important if hook accidently catches a tree limb when the bucket is moving); superior ability to resist degradation from ultraviolet light over a long period of time.
